libdate-leapyear-perl software package provides Perl module to determine whether or not a year is a leapyear, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdate-leapyear-perl
libdate-leapyear-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdate-leapyear-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdate-leapyear-perl *
You will get with libdate-leapyear-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
